Sunday Mornings
We gather on Sunday mornings to celebrate our abundant life in
Christ through fellowship, worship, teaching and activities.
Jr. High (grades 6-8) meets at 9:00 am in the White House.
Sr. High (grades 9-12) meets at 10:30 am in the White
House.
(the White House is the youth building
next to the church) Cell Groups
These small-group bible studies take place in the homes
of students and leaders for the purpose of studying God's truths,
building relationships, and holding each other accountable as we go
through life together.
Truth comes from the study of the inerrant
Word of God. Relationships with peers and a mentor allow the
students to receive intimate care, encouragement, prayer and support
within the large group of BSM.
This is where discipleship really
happens. Led by adult leaders, students can feel comfortable
asking the tougher questions about life and our relationship with God. This is the model Jesus gave us with his disciples. He
began His ministry by recruiting
a small group of men and teaching them
His ways and truths. And these were the same men who first took
those truths into the world.
These groups typically meet on Wednesday evenings.
Quizzing
Come and join the La Crosse team of quizzers! Students are coached
weekly on memorizing verses, chapters, and even books of the Bible and
then travel once a month to a tournament. These weekend tournaments
allow students throughout the Midwest to challenge each other on the
passages they have studied.
Old and New Testament Classes
Do you want a foundation in Biblical knowledge and history? Taught by
energetic leaders in a variety of methods, you will develop an
understanding of the timeline, format, and principle figures in the
Bible. SO plug in and you won't want to miss a week.
Water Ski Team
From getting up for the first time, to learning to slalom, to pyramids,
the ski team will stretch you! The team meets every Wednesday in the
summer for instruction and practice. However, this team has it's core,
not in water, but on the Rock! Discipleship and evangelism are at the
heart of this ministry. The students are not only stretched physically,
but also spiritually. Sign-ups takes place in the spring.
