Women at Bethany Church have many opportunities to regularly connect
with other women for spiritual growth, service, and fellowship.
Morning Edition
Each Tuesday morning (September - May) at Bethany Central
from 9–11 a.m.
women gather together in a large group for worship and refreshments.
Then we break into several small group Bible Studies focusing
on
books of the Bible, current issues of the day, Bible character
studies, and more. You are free to choose the
study most appealing
to you. Morning Edition is open
to women
of all ages, with or
without children, with or without a home church, with or without any
Bible experience. We welcome you to join us as we get to know Jesus
and each other. Wonderful childcare is

Evening Bible Studies
Throughout the year, several evening studies are available for women who enjoy studying the
scriptures in multi-faceted ways i.e. video series, inductive
studies, and topical studies. Women are offered the advantage of choosing
the Bible Study that fits in with the evening most convenient to
their schedule. Check the bulletin for an updated list.
Thursday Morning Prayer
Each Thursday morning, women are invited to meet at Bethany in
the Conference Room at 6:15 a.m. for a time of prayer for
our families, church, and nation. Call Darlene Dixon for information

Circle of Friends
Several groups of about 10 to 12 women of mixed ages fellowship
together once a month, sharing from the Word of God, laughing,
visiting together, and learning from each other in their various
walks of life. This is a delightful ministry of fellowship and
encouragement. A real must for every woman! Call Darlene Dixon for

HopeKeepers®
Chronic Illness Support Group
This support group is designed to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the
woman who lives with chronic illness or pain, through a Christian environment.

White Cross
A vital and important part of ministry is missions! Join women
who meet the first Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. in Room 200 to
make hospital supplies for needy countries; crafts for Lydia
Children’s Home and other groups; and cards with Spanish Bible
verses for Venezuela. (Please bring a pair of scissors and a lunch).

Women’s Spring Rally
In the spring, the women of Bethany gather
for this annual conference. Women spend time together in the Word of
God with special guests who share ways we can grow in the Lord from
the Word. The fellowship is the icing on the cake!
Meals For Moms
This is a ministry designed especially for the new mom!
When you and your baby arrive home, our ladies will delight you with
homemade meals for you and your family! Call Jan Schmeckpeper for

Women’s Seminars
Periodically throughout the year, many women of Bethany
pool together to attend nationwide seminars. Seminars include: Beth
Moore, Kay Arthur, Women of Faith, Hearts at Home, and more! These
are always announced well in advance by way of flyers, the bulletin,
special announcements, etc. When you see them, just sign up!! Call

Women to Women Mentoring
Women to Women Mentoring is for women to be encouraged and
supported in their Christian walk by another Christian woman. It
allows you to experience the joys and blessings of encouraging each
